PhilaU Athletics Unveils New Cell Phone/Email Score Updates
Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University Athletic Department has unveiled its' newest fan feature, using cell phone and email technology. Ram fans can now receive free cell phone and email scores and updates from the latest PhilaU Athletic events.
"We're excited to be one of just a few CACC schools that offer this feature," said Assistant Athletic Director and Sports Information Director Sarah Punderson.

How does it work?
Short Message Service (SMS), or text messages, are sent
right to your phone or email with scores of your athletic contests.
All you have to do is signup, create a login and tell the service
the sports for which you'd like to receive free updates.
What is the confirmation process?
Once you fill out the signup form, we will send a text
message with a short code to your phone. Once you receive it, enter
the code into the form to confirm your signup.
Why is there a confirmation process?
The confirmation process is designed to prevent someone
from signing you up for text messages without your permission.
Are there any fees for this service?
Signing up for the service is free, however standard text
messages rates may apply, depending on your wireless carrier and
service plan.
How many texts will I recieve?
Alerts are generally sent out at the conclusion of
athletic contests, or in the event of other notable athletic news.
How do I manage or cancel my alerts?
Login using your username and password you created at sign
up. From there, you can add more alerts or manage your existing
alerts. Change as often as you wish.
How quickly are the updates sent after each contest?
You will receive alerts as soon as possible following an
event.
