Athlete of the Week: XC's Sarah Simonetti

XC freshman Sarah Simonetti (Perkasie, PA) earned CACC weekly honors for the third time this season, taking the CACC Player of the Week award this week after taking the Philadelphpia Metro Championship title at Belmont Plateau over the weekend.

The Lady Ram rookie crossed the finish line in 19:44.31- 25 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor, leading the Lady Rams to the women's title.

Last week Simonetti took home CACC Player and Rookie of the Week honors for her second-place performance at the Wilmington University Invitational. Her time of 20:28 is the second best time by any Phila U./ Textile female runner at that meet.
