Athlete of the Week: Volleyball's Celena Rendon

Junior Celena Rendon (San Antonio, TX/ Tom C. Clark) was tabbed the CACC Player of the Week for the week ending October 5th. This is the second time that she has received honors from the conference. She Averaged 4.17 kills, 3.0 digs, 0.50 blocks and 0.83 service aces per-set while posting a .360 hitting percentage in a 2-0 week. She recorded 18 kills, 13 digs, three aces and three blocks in a 3-1 triumph over Post.

Rendon has 139 kills and 80 digs on the year, both team highs. She averages 2.78 kills and 1.60 digs per game, respectively.
