Athlete of the Week: Tennis' Christina Brzozowski
Freshman Christina Brzozowski was named the CACC Rookie of the Year following the CACC Championships from the previous week.
In singles action, Brzozowski defeated Olga Nhdlovu of Caldwell, 10-4 in the opening round. She later fell the eventually Singles Champion Daniela Rodriguez, 6-3, 6-0. She later followed up in doubles action with teamate Stephanie Reinke. The team won their first round match, 8-6 over Chiaki Saito and Olga Nhdlovu of Caldwell College. They fell in the second round to eventually champions Shakir Willet and Quena Borres of Holy Family University.
She finished the year with a 10-3 singles record and a 10-3 doubles record, including conference playoffs.
