Field Hockey Shutout in 1-0 Loss to Bellarmine (KY)

Kutztown, PA- One goal was all it took for Bellarmine (KY) University (4-2) to edge the Philadelphia University field hockey team (1-4) 1-0 in an early morning game at the Joshua W. Wesner Memorial Tournament.

In a frustrating game that saw the Lady Rams outshoot Bellarmine 29-22, the Knight's Emily West scored at the 30:15 mark and the Lady Rams had no response in an overcast, rainy match.

Senior goalie Anne Strobel (Middlebury, Conn./Pomperaug) had 12 saves for the Lady Rams.

Phila U. returns to action on Thursday, September 11^th at Misericordia.
