Philadelphia University Unlucky in 1-0 Overtime Loss

Wilmington, DE- The Philadelphia University men's soccer team (0-1) was held to no goals in a 1-0 overtime loss at the hands of the Millersville University Marauders (1-0) at the Wilmington University Tournament on Friday afternoon.

The Rams controlled the tempo for the majority of the game, missing a key opportunity in the second half as the ball was crossed aggressively downfield, but the maroon and grey could not convert.

The Marauders scored the game-winner just three minutes into the overtime period. Senior goalkeeper Charles Custer (Cinnaminson, NJ/ Cinnaminson) was in between the pipes for the Rams.

Next up Phila U. will travel to Army on Tuesday, September 2^nd at 7:00 p.m.
