Seiji Rose Named to United Soccer Coaches NCAA DII All-America Third Team

KANSAS CITY – Senior Seiji Rose of the Jefferson men's soccer team was named to the 2017 United Soccer Coaches NCAA DII All-America Third Team on Wednesday evening. The news was announced via a press release issued by the United Soccer Coaches association.

SEIJI ROSE – UNITED SOCCER COACHES NCAA DII ALL-AMERICA THIRD TEAM
Rose was named to a United Soccer Coaches All-America Team for the first time of his career as a senior in 2017. Earlier this week, Rose earned a spot on the United Soccer Coaches All-East Region First Team. The senior was also recently named to the NCAA Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-East Region First Team earlier this month.

Rose was the 2017 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Year. He was selected to the 2017 All-CACC First Team and the 2017 CACC Men's Soccer Championship All-Tournament Team. He was named the CACC Defensive Player of the Week four times in 2017. Rose ranked second on the Rams with 21 points and first with 13 assists. He also helped anchor the back line which posted nine shutouts on the season as the squad went 10-1-1 in conference play.
