CHESTER, Pa – The Philadelphia University men's track team competed in the 5,000 and 10,000 meter runs in the opening night of the Danny Curran Invitational on Friday at Widener University.
Jake Wong (Philadelphia, Pa./Central) made his season debut in the 5,000 and posted a career-best time of 17 minutes, 13.79 seconds. Wong came in 33rd place.
In his first time runner the 10,000, Aidan Cusick (Castle Pines, Colo./Valor Christian) recorded the 15th-place time of 33:56.28.
Philadelphia returns to Widener for day two of the Danny Curran Invitational on Saturday, April 2.
