POMONA, N.J. – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) men's cross country team placed fourth at the Stockton-hosted Osprey Open on Saturday afternoon in New Jersey.
Two Rams finished in the top five for Jefferson in the 17-team, 151-competitor, eight-kilometer event.
Graduate student Milan Duka turned in his second runner-up finish of the season, crossing the finish with a time of 26:17.8 for a mile pace of 5:17.4 in the race. Ramapo's Jeremy Hernandez won the meet with a time of 25:58.3 (5:13.5 pace). Duka has two first-place finishes on the campaign.
Junior Ethan Fadale placed fourth overall in the Open and second on the Rams. The Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania native owned a final time of 26:53.6 (5:24.6).
Freshman Ben Nardi finished third for Jefferson and 29th overall, averaging a pace of 5:42.3 for a total time of 28:22.0.
Junior Valmar Wilson came in 44th overall at 29:00.6 (5:50.1 pace).
Senior Jake Wong rounded out the top-five finishers for the Rams on Saturday as he crossed with a time of 29:34.9 (5:57.0), good for 52nd overall.
