Women's basketball knocks off Washington Adventist 62-38

TAKOMA PARK, N.Y. – The Philadelphia University women's basketball team bounced back from Thursday's night defeat by knocking off Washington Adventist University 62-38 in a non-conference contest Saturday night in The Pit.

Alynna Williams (Ambler, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) poured in a career-high 20 points for the Rams (8-5). Erin Maher (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) contributed 10 points, while Ayoola Oguntuase (Egg Harbor Twp., N.J./Atlantic Christian) pulled down a career-best eight rebounds.

Philadelphia hosts Kutztown University in a non-conference clash on Monday, Dec. 19 in the Gallagher Center at 1 p.m.
