Kaminski Named CACC Women’s Basketball Defender of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Redshirt junior Jessica Kaminski of the Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women's basketball team was named the CACC Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon. The news was announced by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference office.

JESSICA KAMINSKI – CACC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kaminski helped the Rams to a 2-0 week as the squad remains a perfect 4-0 on the young season. It is the team's best start since 2014-15. The redshirt junior had eight rebounds, three steals and one block in a 64-53 midweek win over Bridgeport while adding 19 points. She then recorded 10 rebounds, one steal and one block in a 61-52 victory against Lincoln (Pa.) for her first double-double of the season as she put up 12 points. She is currently leading the team with averages of 12.3 points/game and 8.8 rebounds/game
