David Nevatt was selected as the first head coach of the Rams' women's golf program on May 11, 2016. Nevatt brings over 35 years of experience from all facets of golf and the golf business to the school.

He earned his first win with the Rams in a tri-match against Franklin & Marshall and Arcadia at the ACE Club in Lafayette Hill, Pa. on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017.

He is the president and chief executive officer of Lone Cypress Advisors (LCA)—a company Nevatt founded in 2008. LCA offers expertise in the operations of private, public and resort golf clubs and provides a comprehensive analysis of club acquisitions, forecasting new properties, and renovations of existing properties.

From 2010 through 2012, Nevatt served as the vice president and PGA general manager at the Jericho National Golf Club in New Hope, Pa. In his roles at the club, Nevatt managed the daily operations, formulated budgets, and strategic planning. He also oversaw membership fees/categories, growth, and policies.

Nevatt spent six years at The ACE Club—the Rams' home course—as the executive vice president and PGA general manager. He managed the final phase of the Gary Player Signature course and clubhouse construction and set policy, managing operations, and established the first operating budget. Nevatt negotiated a four-year deal that brought Jim Furyk and The Exelon Invitational to the club.

He was with the Saratoga National Golf Club, in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., from 1998 until 2002 as the executive vice president, managing partner, and director of golf. In his five years in Saratoga Springs, Nevatt hired the club superintendent and professional golf staff, created golf policies and procedures, and directed membership sales.

Prior to becoming a partner at Saratoga National, Nevatt was the director of golf at the Albany Country Club in Albany, N.Y. for 12 years. He also has seven years of experience as an assistant professional at various country clubs throughout the United States.

A USGA Junior Amateur champion, Nevatt has played on the PGA Tour and, once he was eligible, accepted several sponsor exemptions to play in PGA Tour Champions events. Nevatt is a member of the Atwater High School Hall of Fame.
