Two Philadelphia University Student-Athletes Earn CACC Honors

Philadelphia, PA- Two Philadelphia University student-athletes have earned Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) recognition after the first week of competition.
Cross country freshman standout Sarah Simonetti (Perkasie, PA/ Pennridge) was the CACC ‘Rookie of the Week' after taking third-place overall at the three-mile Haverford Time Trials course (18:35). Her time set a new school record at the Haverford meet.
Women's soccer sophomore midfielder/forward Natalie Vespe (Acto, NJ/ St. Joseph) earned the CACC ‘Honorable Mention' award after scoring the Lady Ram's lone goal of the weekend against Millersville.
