Heller, Tinneny Earn CACC Women’s Soccer Weekly Awards on Monday

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior back Amy Heller and junior keeper Erin Tinneny of the Jefferson women's soccer team earned CACC Weekly Awards on Monday afternoon. The news was announced by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference office.

Heller grabbed CACC Defensive Player of the Week honors while Tinneny was named the CACC Goalkeeper of the Week for the second-straight week.

AMY HELLER – CACC WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Senior Amy Heller tallied her first point of the season on Saturday against the Clippers with an assist on Katie Neveil's goal, the first of five in the contest. Heller took a free kick from a few yards inside midfield before Neveil scored in the box.

ERIN TINNENY – CACC WOMEN'S SOCCER GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Tinneny (7-4-0) turned in two wins last week across 151:55 minutes of play. She recorded her third shutout of the season and the fifth of her career in the Rams' 1-0 win over Goldey-Beacom on Wednesday before earning the victory on Homecoming this past Saturday in the squad's 5-1 win over Concordia. She has a 0.77 goals against average in eight conference matchups.

HONOR ROLL
Sophomore Emily Discavage scored the game-winning goal in the squad's 1-0 shutout against Goldey-Beacom. It came as her first goal on the season and the second of her career.
