Women’s Tennis Turns in Second-Straight Sweep with 9-0 Win at Cabrini

RADNOR, Pa. – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women's tennis team (6-4) swept Cabrini on the road on Thursday in Radnor, Pa. by a 9-0 final.

It comes as the Rams second-straight sweep after defeating Caldwell in New Jersey on Tuesday.

The match started with a 3-0 win for the Rams in doubles before heading into the six singles match at Cabrini.

This was Lauren Candia's first time competing in No. 1 singles position, defeating Stephanie Barkofski 6-0, 6-0. This was also Millie Coombes' first time playing in the No. 2 singles spot, beating Maggie Javitt 6-0, 6,0. Additionally, Katelyn High won her first match of the season, taking down Katie Fiore in the No. 6 singles spot, 8-0.
