Women’s Tennis Ends Fall With CACC Championship First Round Loss to USciences

PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women's tennis team (9-6) fell to the USciences Devils (7-4) in a first round matchup in the CACC Championship, 5-3.

All-CACC Second Team selections Marta Yevstakhevych and Lauren Candia won their No. 1 doubles matchup, taking down CACC Women's Tennis Player of the Year Karla Miletic and teammate Abbygail Gamarnik.

Candia went on to win her No. 2 singles match, though it was the only singles match that the Rams would win.
