Women's volleyball cruises to 3-0 win over Dominican on Senior Day.

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia University women's volleyball team extended their winning streak to nine games after sweeping Dominican (N.Y.) 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-9) Saturday afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match. Courtney Wensil (Bechtelsville, Pa./ Berks Catholic) led the Rams with 16 kills and eight digs to improve their record to 21-4, 13-1 CACC.

Before the match kicked off, the women's volleyball team honored senior student athlete Lauren Laucella (Horsham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) who recorded five kills, three service aces and seven digs in the sweep over the Chargers.

Mariah Cadzow (Mountville, Pa./Hempfield) added eight kills and eight digs while Emily Pilla (Nesquehoning, Pa./Marian Catholic) added 10 digs. Alexandra Harrington (St. Leonard, Md./Huntingtown) contributed 32 assists.

Alexa Williams led Dominican (4-21, 3-13 CACC) with seven kills and five digs.

Philadelphia travels to play Georgian Court Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 6 p.m.
