Women's volleyball earns 3-1 win over Georgian Court

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Courntey Wensel (Bechtelsville, Pa./Berks Catholic) recorded 23 kills and 18 digs to lead the Philadelphia University women's volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-21, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21) Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory over host Georgian Court Wednesday night.

Philadelphia improves to 22-4 overall after recording its 10th victory in a row. The Rams are also in first place in the southern division with a conference record of 14-1.

Mariah Cadzow (Mountville, Pa./Hempfield) had 13 kills with six digs, while Alexandra Harrington (St. Leonard, Md./Huntingtown) had 47 assits, three kills and 15 digs for the Rams. Alexa Leddy (Reading, Pa./Berks Catholic) recorded three service aces and 21 digs.

Peggy Rosario paced Georgian Court (17-15, 13-4 CACC) with 14 kills and 21 kills.

Philadelphia heads to Chestnut Hill College for a CACC match on Friday, Nov. 4 at 5 p.m.
