Wensel Grabs CACC Volleyball Player of the Week Accolades

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Junior Courtney Wensel of the Jefferson volleyball team was named the CACC Volleyball Player of the Week on Tuesday morning. The news was announced by the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference office.

COURTNEY WENSEL – CACC VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Wensel totaled a season-high 21 kills in a four-set victory over Caldwell this past Saturday. In addition to 21 kills and taking down the top team in the CACC North Division, the junior recorded 15 digs for her ninth double-double of the season. Jefferson is on an eight-match winning streak and is the last undefeated team in CACC play.

HONOR ROLL
Freshman Abigail Kress earned CACC Honor Roll status on Tuesday. Kress owned a .340 hitting percentage in the team's two conference victories against USciences and Caldwell last week. She totaled 23 kills with just five errors and also notched four block assists.
