PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) volleyball team (23-6) won its 12th-straight match on Monday evening over the Lincoln Lions (4-19) in three sets, 25-7, 25-16, 25-15. Before the match, Corinne Justus was honored as the lone graduating senior for the Rams on Senior Night.
The senior from Allentown, Pennsylvania led both squads with a match-high 11 kills while hitting .320 on the evening. Justus also finished with 10 digs for her second double-double on the campaign.
Junior Courtney Wensel notched 10 kills behind a .444 hitting percentage with just two errors.
Freshman Logan Dontell, who was named the CACC Rookie of the Week on Monday afternoon, hit .429 with eight kills.
In the 12-match winning streak, the Rams have seven-straight sweeps and have not dropped a set since Tuesday, Oct. 17 at Goldey-Beacom in a 3-1 win.
Jefferson Volleyball now plays at Bloomfield on the road in the regular-season finale on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. in a CACC matchup.
